Schoolies aged 16 to 18 who are completing year 12 on the year of travel may attend. If you have left school early (eg Year 10) for work or TAFE and you are in this age group then you may also attend. The Schoolies accommodation and activities are accessible to all Schoolies 18+ as well as under 18.
The most common way to get from Melbourne to Phillip Island is to drive (90 minutes) and there is parking available at the accommodation, however public transport is also available.
From Melbourne by car:
Take the Monash Freeway (M1) to the Cranbourne exit, where you will turn into the South Gippsland Highway (M420). Follow this route to the Bass Highway (A420), through Grantville and Bass, then onto the Phillip Island Road (B420) to San Remo, over the bridge onto Phillip Island.

Yes. We understand that you want Freedom at Schoolies. You have the freedom to explore the beautiful Phillip Island, however, the location of the Schoolies accommodation is the centre of the Schoolies action. You can go shopping, do tours and activities as you wish. There is a free bus that may be available at times (driven by the Red Frogs) for transport between the Schoolies accommodation and Cowes if required.

All bedding is provided, including linen, sheets, blankets, pillows. As for towels, bring your own towels. If you would like to hire a bathroom towel at the hotel, it can be done for $3 per towel
